Some days

Some Days

Together, apart, now together again
and you are out in the rain
shopping, your coat famous blue
here on the blue chair.

It could be any world or all
dog barking down the hall
singing softly your kitchen song
after dinner, leaving, the fridge full.

.

Waking to a green cacophony.
Shade in the coffin. Baking,
a daytime spiritualist dances
on hot cement, splashing it.

Paint-streaked remains of a parade
dodgy branches      a Baltic empire
it goes, unclaimed, to the finders
a three-day wilt      six more to go
out.      And beer. It's time to.

.

Agreed to lunch, would balk at dinner.
Looking squinty, thinner
dark glasses speaking of
the academy, of the future, dismissing
my dismissals. Gossip slamming. That door closed.
Health to all and "Hello!"s

Spark fell out of a street lamp. Burned
its way to Kuala Lumpur. Colora    do?
Guarding the branches, condiments,
vegetables. Cold, for your return.
"From snowy mountains ..."

.

Glamorous and in their 60s, amorous
they kiss under a Chinese lantern.
It's movie jazz with menace as
the flame bowls insinuate and flutter.

There's nothing behind it but an office
and a good time. The haughty waitress
undresses and reads a good book.
The manager checks his stocks on the net.
A lumpy dance tune hangs upside down
over it. A muscular polyphony
"Silence!" or "I'll tear your ears off!"

.

"Denver is great!"     "a bad taste in my mouth"
two emails      two females
angry bird gets the answer first, then
"reality needs only a slight adjustment to be art"
speak of the yellow breasted-sparrow
Okay, I'll keep my mind open

Coming in
                 the blustery pinion
Elizabeth is Smart
I apologize in advance
                 frustration, devaluation

"a buffalo herd ... stick it in your ear!"
Again. "I am not easily fooled" Again?
Or "To be a happy person" — dance?
Let's forget and ... "I'm baffled. The other part."
(chill out)
Ex–terminate the
Wile E. hyperbole.

.

weird beery dreams
          the world a flaming tomato

BAKED GOODS FOR MENTAL HEALTH
   "sure death to shore birds"
snow birds show off      roar
with the air at the lake      all the way up here
    wind through trees
   & noise of drilling

pleasures and treasures cruise rudely by
the detour is on my street
cookies dipped teeth sore
    cinnamon speculaas
a woman clogs a windmill and flower     spills
considered white the causes
the neighbours garden where vines fence the lines

they die once a year
the real wars are going worse

they play in the street each day. It's summer still
I want to think about you
I'm lying on the couch, sleeping.

.

No such thing as imaginary living
"international & galactic" (catalogue, Whalen)
      his thoughts, not just American

anxious Sunday
      will Monday get up
nasalities       blow into a rag
weed rug    tart in a paper bag
    a princess of darkness
a street festival     aspirin
a day old but just as sweet
      days old, wilted, even sweeter
water cloudy brew    sugars the roots

first cup.       They should all be love poems.

.

I just want to sit in the park
   and the fucking      AIR     SHOW

superman picks up the truck.     phone.
NOW I have a VAN ?!?
The moon is down at the end
   of the street
let's go for a ride, get pizza playas

From used car lots to the Himalayas
      the same flags flap.

They turn in a wide circle.   Empyrean blue.
Type of apple? Spot of red.
Hey.     Look at all these planes.

   eating one not stopping
till oops there go the seeds

Whalen: "pink dink"
     wrong long dong
         shock cock
     seen his venus penis
  trick slick thick dick
         Brakhage package?

the Tower's lipstick red tonight

.

This picnic table is a technicolor universe
Our enemies vanquished & we're bored
First day of school.   Eat an apple
do laundry, sit in the park,
         read, eat ate etc.

mel blanc, born blank
from nothing to white
the sea's whiny darkness
pulchritude in the sepulchre
"Who's married? Who's dead?" I said
nothing to know about it
squirrel on roof    sun through trees   allergies
         "that's all folks"
world turns sets wind brings another
