"art is fine / but sleep divine"

"art is fine

but sleep divine"

I like mine supine

the handkerchief she folds

on my side or no dreams

snip snip snip

and sews the machine

until its done

"on the outside I'll

be with them tonight"

hooded & hunched over

my friends

under many illusions

signature empty shimmer

& emphasis on anger

"a functionary disapproved

this pitiless procedure"

it goes on

upside down to China!

Hindu slum dignity

bottom-cleaver

speaks impediment

"here's some lint"

fur & sweatpants

pay for it later

*

with the birds

who do everything "naturally"

peck a crust

cold skinny thing

wingtips blue

sourball moods

we'll ignore

peril!

I don't know

too in our heads

or flesh-fixated

no passionate cowboy

car-thief poet

a fast dog! run

wag, chase squirrels. Not me

nothing is simple. So

which way do we go

axcept the other

the way the world

its noise & silences

double your pleasure

doublemint gum

park caps

orangina
