Turning Vice into Versa (G20 Stone Soup)

The stone grows slowly in the underbelly of exaggeration.
Some turbulence in the tub
a warm disquiet stirring the mock soup
as the young lovers disappear singly in chokeholds
riven by the wall of the kettle
by the rivets that were
and will still be, after, people.
In the manner of "hold the line."
In the manner of cannibalism.
If evil is the acceptance of untruth as verity
then it is good to verify the untruth
to taste what may be cooking.
We began with a pot with some stinging in it
and now there is only stone.
